Are the transfers private or seat-in-coach transfers?
All transfers are private transfers in air conditioned vehicles accompanied by an English speaking guide.
Are the day tours private tours or seat-in-coach tours?
All of the day tours are private tours, in an air conditioned vehicle accompanied by an English speaking guide. The guide and driver will collect you from the hotel in the morning and return you back to the hotel, upon completion of the tour.
What is included in the day tours?
In addition to the above, all day tours include entry fee to the scenic highlights. On a full day tour, Chinese lunch is included.
Which Yangtze River cruise do you recommend?
We work in partnership with three major Yangtze River cruise companies, including Victoria Cruises, Century River Cruises and President Cruises. All cruise ships are recently built vessels.
What are the best months to visit the Yangtze River Three Gorges?
April, May, September and October.
Does the tour price include tips and gratuities?
All quotations and costs are EXCLUSIVE of all tips and gratuities unless otherwise stated.
What kind of meal selection can we expect?
Breakfasts are western style buffet, lunch and dinner are family style Chinese meals.
Are prices based on double/twin occupancy?
All prices are per person, based on two persons sharing a room. Single and triple room costing’s are listed where available.
Do you recommend travel insurance?
Yes, travel insurance is strongly recommended. If you wish to purchase via Acrossia, this can be arranged.
What is the tipping policy in China?
Like in most overseas countries, it is expected to tip your guide and driver in recognition of their service to you. As tipping is a major contributor to their income, they are very appreciateive of your kind gesture.
