Testimonials

-The pick- up in Kunming at 2am went very smoothly. The guide, Alvin, came from Kunming, spoke very good English, and helped us to check in as the hotel staff had limited English. This was all very helpful at 230am!

-The hotel was first class. The best I have ever stayed in and with breakfast included in the revolving restaurant we were very spoilt

-The tour was excellent. The driver didn’t speak English but was always ready to help with bags and to open the doors especially for Sue. The Stone Forest in an amazing sight and I am pleased that we took the opportunity to tour the park. Our guide took us through the large and small forest giving us a full wrap of the place. They dropped us at the airport around 845pm which gave us time to change and get ready for the 00:50 flight back to Sydney.

I offer our very sincere thanks for the trip you arranged for us. There were no hiccups at all and the guides, transports and itinerary all were excellent. We all enjoyed all aspects of our holiday, and our guide Allen even used his local eateries on several occasions to give us authentic experiences. Please pass our thanks to our guides, Sam and Allen. Their knowledge, patience, caring and scheduling are a credit to their employers. Many thanks again.

Thank you very much and we had an amazing trip! China is amazing and all our guides were wonderful especially Emily in Guilin. They were very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. All the arrival pick-ups and transfers went so easy and smooth (I was nervous before departure). Our family loved every part of the tours and every city we visited .Our son kept saying "this is even better!" when we were in the next city....

The private tour of Terracotta Warriors was also another highlight of our trip. Tour guide was really knowledgeable, talkative and friendly. Also gave us advice on other things to do while we were in Xi’an. Pick up and drop offs to/from the Xi’an Airport were seamless and was good to have someone help us navigate the airport. We were glad we did a private tour for this one for great the level of service we got. Think we went at the best time of year to see this without all the crazy crowds.

Taroko Gorge seat-in-coach tour was one of the highlights for us in Taiwan. It was a long day but worth the trip. If we’d had more time we would stayed a night out there or longer. There seemed to be quite a lot to see and do there and heaps of nice walking tracks. Our tour guide was friendly and made the trip fun with her humor. Was good to have a guide at the train stations to make sure we got on the right train and had transport to our accommodation. It was a great day and the tour lunch we had at the 5 star hotel was nice.

All the accommodation, private drivers and guides were excellent, we could not fault them in any way. They were always there when we expected and no one was ever late. The guide in Xian modified things slightly to the program but it made perfect sense to do so with regards to timing, traffic and location of sites and our leaving time the next day.

The guide for Yellow Mountains (Jerry) was also very very good. We felt we were taken very good care of and did not have to worry about a thing. He provided good little helpful tips, like the best side of the shuttle bus to sit on.

We also found it interesting and difficult to get use to drivers opening the car door for us - something we are not use to in NZ.
